We are pleased to have completed our work at Capital Candy. This job was concluded in two phases over the course of nine months.
Phase One involved converting an existing 4,200 SF granite processing facility to a 35 degree Fahrenheit refrigerated storage building with an integrated product storage system. A 3,200 SF refrigerated loading dock/staging appendage was also added.
Phase Two was recently completed in September. In this phase a 7,000 SF freezer was added to the loading dock for expansion and consolidation of their frozen product storage. These new areas have helped the Owner to combine products that were stored in lease spaces offsite. The operating temperature of the freezer is -20 F. Connor Contracting Inc. Worked closely with their Mechanical and Electrical subcontractors and Efficiency Vermont to include many state of the art features to generate utility savings for the Owner's operations.
